The Moldovan government introduced an electronic invoicing system which is called e-Factura in 2014. In both electronic and paper format accepted. For issuing e-Invoices there are several requirements, both suppliers and recipients must be registered to the e-Invoicing system, and also even if the recipient is registered, their consent is required. Issuing e-Invoice is mandatory only in public procurements. The e- Invoicing system is used for registering, issuing, signing, and printing.
